How do I book?
In order to book your date, I just need to know what kind of photoshoot you want, the dates you are available, and a deposit to hold your date. The purpose of the deposit is to lock in your date + time. This helps me to avoid last-minute cancellations where I could have someone else booked for that date. I do not book anything in my calendar until your deposit has been paid, making your desired date for grabs. Nothing is booked until the deposit has been paid.
When do I pay the remainder?
You can pay the remaining balance on the day of the shoot either before or immediately following the end of the session.
What happens if it rains?
If weather that was not able to be anticipated like new snow or rain occurs will there be a consideration for rescheduling. If there is rain or snow still falling one hour before the shoot, the photographer and/or the client has the right to reschedule. In this instance, the deposit will be put towards the next shoot as I am notified within 14 days of your session. If you need to cancel and do not want to re-schedule, your deposit is not refunded. Sorry!
When + how will I receive images?
Your photos will be delivered in an online gallery format. You will receive a link that will take you to a webpage where you can download your images. This link will expire one week after the date the link was sent. Once it expires, you will have no access to the gallery. You will need to download any and all photos they wish to keep before the link expires and will not be able to download again after the week time has passed. After this, I am not responsible for any photo storage or delivery!
Do I get to choose the final images?
No. Part of my job is choosing the best and most flattering pictures. I spend a lot of time sorting through hundreds of images from a session including repeats, blurry, and blinking photos to choose the gems of the bunch! With years of experience, you can trust me to choose the best ones of you!
Will you retouch/Photoshop how I look?
I only do a small bit of retouching for things like small blemishes, a stray hair, or minor distractions in the background. If any retouching outside of small blemishes is requested, there will be an additional fee per photo.
Can I have the unedited or RAW files?
Sorry, no! RAW files take up a lot of storage and are difficult to send. Also, unedited images are not a reflection of my finished photography.
What if we don't want the images used on your social media, website, or anywhere online?
Please make it known to me in your initial contact with me if this is the case and let me know the reason. The main way I market my photography services is through the internet and I rely on sharing my photography to bring in new clients.
